1. Installation:
First extract the Zip-file. Read the text-file
"readme". Then start with
"setup".
First window:
Recommend to close any running applications
before install MasterSplitter.
Press "Ok"
Next window:
You can change the directory where Mastersplitter
will be installed.
If you do not want to change the directory,
Press the button "Install"
Next window:
Setup is Complete
Press "OK"
2. Program description:
If you starts Mastersplitter, you will see first
a little window (if you run an unregistered
version) before the Mastersplitter window  . Press the button "I Agree".
Split files:
If you see the Mastersplitter window, normal the
tab "Split" is selected (if not, select
the tab "Split") . Press the button "Browse" at
the right upper corner of that tab . Now select the file you want to split.
In the middle you see a bordered field
"Split Options" . With the dropdown menue in the middle
you can select some fixed values of size, or
"Custom" for the splitted parts. If you select
"Custom" you can select some size for
the parts you want in the left field. Right side
of that field you can select the value kb or Mb
for size. If you press the button
"Advanced" . at the right side, you will see a
window in which you can change some options. If
you press the button "Split" at the left lower corner,
Mastersplitter will split the file. After
Mastersplitter has split the file, you get a
message window "File Split Process
Complete" and the info about the number of
files which were created.
Join files:
Select the tab "Join" . Press the button "Browse" at the right upper corner of that
window. Now select the first part of the split
file ("*.000" or "*.001"). In
the bordered field "Join In" you can select, in which directory
Mastersplitter shall place the joined file. Press
the button "Join" at the left lower corner of that tab to
join the file. If you do not have the
"*.000" file, Mastersplitter will ask
you in a message window "Would you like to
Join Without it" . Press the button "OK", and
select in the next window the destination folder
for the joinded file,then press the button
"OK". After Mastersplitter has joined
the files, you get a message window "File
Join Process Complete".
If you do not have all parts, Mastersplitter will
join only the parts till the first missing part.
In this case, and if there is some file
currupted, you will get some warning messages
like these .
But that means not, that the movie will not play.
So try always after you have joined the files, to
view the movie.
